An X-ray is non-invasive and usually takes only a few minutes. Our experienced radiographers will ensure you are comfortable throughout the examination and will explain what to expect before your X-ray begins.
Our digital X-ray system captures high-quality digital images quickly, allowing images to be reviewed and reported efficiently. This provides your clinician with the information needed to discuss the most appropriate next steps in your treatment or management plan.
If there is any possibility that you may be pregnant, please inform the radiographer before your examination so that appropriate precautions can be taken. Depending on the area being examined, you may also be asked to remove jewellery or clothing containing metal.
