OrthTeam Centre Launches Academy for Education and Training

The OrthTeam Centre is delighted to announce the launch of the OrthTeam Academy, designed to equip medical professionals and healthcare colleagues - including physiotherapists, chiropractors, podiatrists, and sports professionals - with advanced knowledge and expertise to provide top-tier patient care.

OrthTeam consultants are renowned for their commitment to leading education and have trained to achieve the highest levels of specialisation in fields such as orthopaedics, spinal neurosurgery, peripheral nerve surgery, neurology, pain management, rheumatology, sport and exercise medicine and endocrinology.

The first event under the OrthTeam Academy will be a CPD session on Spinal Neurosurgery and Peripheral Nerve Surgery for physiotherapists. It is scheduled for Thursday, 4th July 2024, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

The event will feature OrthTeam experts:

  • Mr Ankur Saxena, Consultant Spinal Neurosurgeon: Cervical Radiculopathy - Diagnosis and Management
  • Mr John Leach, Consultant Spinal Neurosurgeon: Numb Hands - Differential Diagnosis
  • Mr Chye Yew Ng, Consultant Peripheral Nerve Surgeon: Venepuncture - What Could Possibly Go Wrong?
